My Thoughts on the Series

The Night Warriors anime (based on the Darkstalkers fighting game) wasn't well received. People have said it's bland and has a weak story. I would agree that it doesn't have a strong story, but I still think this is a good anime. At least the good guys get their backstories explained. I think they did a good job establishing the world behind the video game. People are living in hard times being tormented by the Darkstalkers. But not all Darkstalkers are bad. Considering that this is based on a fighting game, the strength of this anime is the battles. The battles are indeed awesome! And there's plenty of them. I think you'll enjoy this anime if that's what you're into.
