Characters
The Guardians
These are the elemental guardians who join you at the end of certain stages in the game. Each grants you a new sword attack and the ability to summon them. Each summons costs 1 magic point. You can rotate between the guardians as needed.
Guardian of Fire
This guardian challenges you at the end of stage 1 to test if you are worthy as the swordsman of destiny. Upon defeat, it gives you its power.
Special Attack
Energy Wave
Alen splits into three and executes super fast sword stabs. Most enemies are defeated by this attack! It's very useful. If you hold down a direction on the D-pad while executing this attack, Alan will move slowly in that direction while sword-stabbing.
Summon
Flame God Slice
Shoots powerful, giant fireballs at the enemy. While the attacks are powerful, its summon is brief and slow.
Guardian of Water
You win this guardian after defeating the final boss of stage 2.
Special Attack
Holy War Blade
Alen executes a spin attack which releases magical sparks. This attack is my least favorite. I don't find it very effective.
Summon
Protection
Two protective orbs rotate around Alen as they shoot deadly water pellets. This is a pretty useful summon! You're almost invincible.
Guardian of Wind
You win this guardian after defeating the final boss of stage 4.
Special Attack
Wing Fang Strike
Alen leaps into the air and lands on an enemy with his sword pointing downward. This attack is almost cheating! Alen lands exactly on a nearby enemy and doesn't miss. It's an instant kill for most enemies.
Summon
Iron Fist
Bombards the enemy with super fast punches. This is the best summon for boss battles!
Guardian of Earth
You win this guardian after defeating the final boss of stage 5.
Special Attack
Earth Dragon Attack
Alen executes a powerful dash. He's invincible when he uses this dash. It's an instant kill for enemies! You could also use it to simply dash through hordes of enemies that you don't feel like fighting.
Summon
Barrier
Casts a barrier around Alen granting him temporary invincibility. Naturally, a summon like this is invaluable!
