Link Techs Awesome combo techs!
“Link Techs” or “Link Techniques” is the name given to a special kind of attack in the game. They're extremely useful. Some heal your allies, while others damage either a single enemy or all the enemies. It is the definition of teamwork. You can register all the Senshi with their combinative partners as early as the start of the game. You don't need to have all the Senshi with you in order to register.
How to unlock them
The Link Techs are available from the start of the game, but the player must “discover” them first: Accessing the “Make Up Link” menu, the player can choose two or three characters and by pressing the control button “Y”, they can check if the chosen characters can perform a Link attack together. Usually, the key to making a successful link is to team up characters that share something in common or are related in some way (for example Sailor Mercury has linked techs with every one of the Inner Sailor Senshi, and also with Sailor Neptune because they both share water-type techs).
The only link attack that is not unlocked this way is “Rainbow Moon Heart Ache”, performed by Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Chibi Moon (these two can't be selected in the “Make Up” menu because they appear only in battle).
Link Attack Power
You may have noticed that whenever you have checked a Senshi's status, you see something called "LAP" just below their EP. "LAP" stands for "Link Attack Power", and it does increase from 0. The more you use a team-up attack, the higher that number becomes. Maybe it means that the higher the number, the stronger the attack will be. Keep in mind, though, that if you want to increase the LAP of a certain character, you must use that character to access the link technique. This means if you don't want to access the link technique with your fastest character, go with the character whose LAP you want to increase.
In the tables below, the number in the “Damage” column (Dmg = Damage) indicates the ranking of the attack from a scale of 1-5. It ranges from “1” being a weak attack up to “5” being a strong attack.

Formation Techniques
With multi-character Formation Techniques, the Sailor Senshi unite their EP in battle to deliver a powerful attack. There are 4 types of battle formations, so there are 4 types of united attacks. Only the first character in battle can select the Formation technique (except for “Planet Attack”).
If you don't know what I'm talking about when I say “the battle formations”, see below. This screen can be found via the menu when you access “Formations”.

“Arrow” Formation
