The Game
You will need a Super Nintendo emulator to play Sailor Moon RPG. You can download one from my emulators page. If you need assistance with any of the emulators offered on my site, check out my emulation help subsite: Video Game Emulation for Newbies.
What's “Pre-patched” and “Patched”? With the “Pre-patched” download, I've done the work for you and applied the translation to the game. So just download-and-play! With the “Patch” download, that's just the English patch by itself. You can learn more about patching in my Patching Tutorial.
Moon Healing Orchestration (MSU-1)
This is a special hack that replaces the 16-bit soundtrack with a beautiful CD-quality soundtrack. This is also known as an “MSU-1” hack. A game that is modified with MSU-1 can play full audio tracks! It's really cool! This is a pretty significant project, so I've prepared a dedicated page that explains everything.
Sailor Moon RPG (English Improved!)
Released in 2019, this is the improved English fan translation. This is a complete English relocalization of the game. Featured are several fixes to issues and bugs in the original game. The Readme contains game controls, cheat codes, and a changelog. The Liner Notes explain terms used in this patch, Another Story's continuity in the overarching series, and any deviations from the original script. Check these enclosed documents to learn more about the project and game itself.
“Pre-patched Plus” has the two optional patches applied (described below). If you want to play the original unaltered game, download “Pre-patched”.
- “Grind-Be-Gone” - The game has a high encounter rate. This patch halves the enemy encounter rate while doubling earned XP and yen.
- “Swiss Manicure” - The boss for Mercury's scenario is very difficult. This patch adds the Manicure item to the Keines Village item shop. It temporarily boosts ATK +5, which should aid in this battle.
Sailor Moon (English)
This is the original fan translation of the game by Bishoujo Senshi Translations released in 1999. This translation heavily relies on knowledge of the fan-subtitled Sailor Moon anime, and fansub anime in general.

If you prefer patching the game yourself, here's the original Japanese ROM for the game. Otherwise, using my pre-patched downloads above are fine.
