Did you accidentally delete your saved game in Secret in Mana? Do you want to skip certain parts of the game? Do you want to search for specific game sprites to capture? Whatever the case may be, these game saves are here to save the day. ^_^
These are SRM files and ZST files.
SRM (saved RAM) game save files are compatible with any SNES emulator. These are the files that store the native data of the game via the 4 save slots. And of the SRM files in this section, each save slot contains a different saved position.
ZST save state files are only compatible with ZSNES and Snes9X. Unlike the SRM files, they consist of just 1 saved position. Their advantage is that they instantly bring you to the given saved position, unlike SRM files which require you to start up the game normally.
Contained in these zip archives are text files containing a detailed description of each save. This description lists the save's location, current status of the plot, current character levels, current weapon levels, current equipment, current inventory, current GP, and the current essential weapon orb.
Normally in my RPG shrines, I distribute just one collection of saves. For Secret of Mana, I have two collections for you: OhNoMelon's saves and Jackie's saves. They're prepared differently and offer different experiences.

These game saves consist of just SRM (saved RAM) saves. This collection covers more positions than Jackie's. Included with each zip archive are text files containing a detailed description of each save. This description lists the save's location, the current status of the plot, current character levels, current weapon levels, current equipment, current inventory, current GP, and current essential weapon orb.
Slot #1 You just got the sword in the stone. No exploring has been done yet. You have not spoken to the elder yet.
Slot #2 You just beat the boss, but have not spoke to the Elder yet.
Slot #3 On the way to the Water Palace.
Slot #4 Luka just persuaded you to save the world.
Slot #1 On your way to Gaia's Navel. You have the option of recruiting your future party member, the girl, at this point.
Slot #2 Close to Gaia's Navel. The girl is now in your party.

Slot #4 On your way to find Dyluck. Just passed by Gaia's Navel.
Slot #1 Go to Dwarf Village to get an axe.

Slot #3 Just defeated Tropicallo, upgraded all the weapons, and ready for Haunted Forest.
Slot #4 On the way to Elinee's castle.
Slot #1 The witch has Dyluck. Dun dun dun.
Slot #2 We need ice magic? But where to find it?
Slot #3 Luka's in trouble.
Slot #4 Where to go now... Gaia's Navel? Or rescue Dyluck from the cult south of Pandora?
Slot #1 Dyluck can play cards with Thanatos, Gaia's Navel it is.
Slot #2 To the secret court south of Pandora.
Slot #3 To the secret court south of Pandora. But first, let's speak with the king.
Slot #4 Pandora is saved. Thanatos hightailed out of there. You've just raided the treasury at the castle. It is time for Water Palace.
Slot #1 A group has stolen the Water Seed and they are now hiding somewhere in Gaia's Navel. Time to revisit the Underground Palace.
Slot #2 Underground Palace.
Slot #3 Water Seed retrieved, head back to the Water Palace.
Slot #4 Off to locate other Mana Seeds. Talk to the Cannon Travel Man to leave this region.
Slot #1 Help the Moogles out by chasing out the baddies from their home
Slot #2 With the Pebblers gone, the Moogles returned to their village. Sprite also just remember how to get back to the village.
Slot #3 Received Sylphid's power. Use wind magic to unlock new path. Don't forget to seal the Mana Seed before leaving.
Slot #4 Leveling up magic for a bit.
Slot #1 Get rid of the snake in the cave to learn the Mana Palace's whereabout.
Slot #2 Cannon Travel is available once again. There are two places to go, the Ice Country and Kakkara the desert.
Slot #3 Something's odd about the Ice Country. There's actually a tropical paradise around here somewhere... Time to investigate.
Slot #4 Discovered the cause for the so called tropical paradise. Salamando is found. Head for the Ice Palace just above the ex-tropical paradise.
Slot #1 Leveled up magic skills. Now heading for the Ice Palace just above the ex-tropical paradise.
Slot #2 Almost at the Ice Palace.
Slot #3 Ice Country's scenario is finished. Time to head for Kakkara.
Slot #4 Locate your friend in the sandship.
Slot #1 Head for Fire Palace.
Slot #2 Fire Palace scenario is completed. Cannon Travel to the Empire.
Slot #3 Explore the town and talk to every one to advance the story.
Slot #4 Infiltrate the ruins in the North East.
Slot #1 Just done with the ruins. Speak to Krissie to advance the story.
Slot #2 You have acquired Flammie Drum, now you have the choice of going to Lofty Mountain to find Sage Jock, or go on side quests.
Slot #3 On the way to see Sage Joch.
Slot #4 Apparently Sage Joch isn't in Palace of Darkness anymore. His disciple told you that he's in Gold City now.
Slot #1 Did a bit of leveling up. Main destination is still Gold Town.
Slot #2 Obtained the key to unlock the tower from Mara.
Slot #3 Sage Joch isn't here. Head back to Lofty Mountain.
Slot #4 Sage Joch still isn't there. According to Jehk, he is in Moon Palace, which is in the Sea of Wonders near the border of Kakkara Desert.
Slot #1 Sage Joch still isn't here. Apparently the old guy went to Tasnica, which is west of Lofty Mountain.
Slot #2 On the way to see Sage Joch.
Slot #3 Head to the Mana Palace in the sunken continent.
Slot #4 The Mana seals have all been broken, head back to the Mana Palace again to check things out.
Slot #1 Just went to the Mana Palace. Discovered a shortcut to the Grand Palace, defeated some bosses including the Scorpion Gang again. Back to the Mana Palace again.
Slot #2 Just a little breather between boss battles. Just defeated Snap Dragon and taken the exit at the top of Grand Palace. Back to the Palace again to pursue the Emperor.
Slot #3 Oh no. Thanatos has raised the Mana Fortress, and rebeled kill off his own men. Head back to the Mana Palace to talk to Jema and find Neko to get the best equipments possible.
Slot #4 On the way to see the Mana Tree, not before defeating a few bosses though.
Slot #1 Just defeated Snow Dragon. On with the show.
Slot #2 Defeat the Red Dragon to move on.
Slot #3 Just defeated the Red Dragon, went to Watts and Inn. Moving on.
Slot #4 Just defeated Blue Dragon, time to see the Mana Tree.
Slot #1 Last stop: Mana Fortress. Doing some magic leveling at the moment though.
Slot #2 Leveling magic.
Slot #3 Defeated two mid-bosses in Mana Fortress, currently in Matango to upgrade Axe and rest. Should be more than strong enough to pick on Thanatos.
Slot #4 Back to form the ultimate spear and bow.
Slot #1 Back to form the ultimate javelin, boomerang, whip, glove, and axe. Time for the ending!
Jackie is the webmistress of VideoGameSprites.net. Her collection of saves consist of ZSNES ZST save states & SRM (saved RAM) saves. Versus OhNoMelon's saves, Jackie's includes “God Mode” saves which have the characters hacked to have every stat maxed out. She also has an ending ZST state. It's hard to say if her collection is better than OhNoMelon's. I'll leave that distinction up to you.
