Game Saves
Game Saves? What are those?
Did you accidentally delete your saved game in Magic Knight Rayearth? Do you want to skip certain parts of the game? Whatever the case may be, these game saves are here to save the day! These are save files for use with video game emulators. With them, you can continue at any major point in the game. That is if you don't mind continuing with someone else's playthrough.
What are these files?
Each save is an *.srm file, and it's compatible with any Super Nintendo emulator. It stands for “saved RAM.” It's the internal saving when you save at a save point.
Directions
All you need to do is rename the SRM file to be the same name as your Magic Knight Rayearth ROM. With Snes9X, for example, you would have a setup like this. I have step-by-step directions in my Game Saves Tutorial.
The saves
Save #1 - The first half of the game
Slot 1 At the entrance of the Forest of Silence. Walk toward the right to enter it.
Slot 2 In front of the Spring of Eterna.
Slot 3 In front of the beach where Mokona takes you away in his flying thingy (just take one step forward). Then after an event, you end up in the water maze, which leads you to the Water Temple.
Save #2 - The second half of the game
Slot 1 In front of the Mountain of No Return. Enter and unlock the door to enter the mountain. At the top of the mountain, you'll be taken to the sky maze. At the end of the sky maze is the Temple of the Sky, where you will find Windam.
Slot 2 In front of the Volcano. There you'll eventually come across the Temple of Fire, where you will find Rayearth.
Slot 3 On the small island with the staircase that leads to Zagato's realm. From here on you'll be going through the final dungeons and fighting the final bosses.
Save #3 - The final areas
Slot 1 In the middle of the Mirror Maze.
Slot 2 Just defeated Inouva and finished the Mirror Maze. Get ready for the battle with Alcione.
Slot 3 Just defeated Alcione. Next, trek through Zagato's Castle.
