Did you accidentally delete your saved position in Live-A-Live? Do you want to skip certain parts of the game? Do you want to search for specific game sprites to capture? Whatever the case may be, these save states are here to save the day. ^_^
Each save is an *.srm file (compatible with any SNES emulator). Each *.srm file contains four saved games (a save in each slot).
Coupled with the saves are text files with more information on the saves. They include the save's location, current status of the plot, party members, character levels, equipment, skills, and items.
Live-A-Live is tricky to provide game saves for because of the freedom to play the scenarios in any order you choose. I offer two sets of saves for you. The first set is an extensive collection of game saves covering every major part of the game. The second set captured a save upon completion of each scenario. Both sets of saves complete the scenarios in a different order.

1 - Western Chapter Saves (Cowboy)- 5.74 KB • Save 1, Slot 1 - Beginning of the scenario. After you defeat Maddog. You might want to visit the bar. • Save 1, Slot 2 - Scared off one lackies from Crazy Bunch. Maddog shows up and wants to duel you. • Save 1, Slot 3 - The duel has been postponed. Sunset and Maddog are suppose to work together to defeat the Crazy Bunch. Speak to everyone then to Maddog again. • Save 1, Slot 4 - Look for items to use as traps. • Save 2, Slot 1 - Collected all the items in the town. Talk to the sheriff twice then the people to set up traps. • Save 2, Slot 2 - Asked the town people to set up traps already. A whole lot of waiting to do before the Crazy Bunch shows up. • Save 2, Slot 3 - Sometime before the 8th bell tolls. |

3 - Science Fiction Chapter Saves (Robot)- 11.2 KB • Save 1, Slot 1 - In Kato's room; the very beginning of the sci fi chapter. • Save 1, Slot 2 - In the computer room; Kato just registered Cube as a crew member. Look for him on the same floor. • Save 1, Slot 3 - In the sleeping capsules room; all crew members have been awoken. Head for the refresh room for a meeting. • Save 1, Slot 4 - In the lounge; you can head to either the Cargo Bay or Rachel's room for events. • Save 2, Slot 1 - In the cargo hold; something's happening at the cockpit on 3rd floor. Head there. • Save 2, Slot 2 - In the cockpit; Kirk has decided to manually fix the broken communication system. Head for the airlock on the 1st floor. • Save 2, Slot 3 - In the airlock; head back to the cockpit. • Save 2, Slot 4 - In the sick bay; talk to the people in the Sick Bay. • Save 3, Slot 1 - In the lounge; an explosion occurred. Talk to the characters. Give Huey some coffee. • Save 3, Slot 2 - In the sick bay; after speaking to everyone and checked out the empty Sick Bay, talk to Kato at Kirk's room. After that, back to the Sick Bay. • Save 3, Slot 3 - In the air lock; speak to the crew members, head out to the containment unit in cargo hold to confirm the missing behemoth. Talk to everyone. • Save 3, Slot 4 - In the lounge; coffee has magical properties, use it. • Save 4, Slot 1 - In the corridor; head to the computer terminal for the password to captain's room. • Save 4, Slot 2 - In the corridor; head inside captain's room, after that, check the guest room. • Save 4, Slot 3 - In the corridor; escape from the behemoth. Then attempt to head for the south end of 3rd floor from the north. Take the right pathway on the 2nd floor. You should see something walking around... Go to Kato's room. • Save 4, Slot 4 - In the corridor; talk to Kato in his room, then go back and talk to Darth. • Save 5, Slot 1 - In the corridor; received Comm. Unit from Darth. Head to the Refresh room and use the computer with Captain Square on it. • Save 5, Slot 2 - In the lounge; computer's thinking circuit has been cut off. Give Corporal Darth a cup of coffee. |
4 - Kung Fu Chapter Saves (Monk)- 8.63 KB • Save 1, Slot 1 - Gained 1 pupil, Samo. • Save 1, Slot 2 - Lei Kuugo becomes a pupil. • Save 1, Slot 3 - Yun Juu becomes a pupil. Head back to the dojo. • Save 1, Slot 4 - Decide which pupil to train. For this save, it'll be Lei. • Save 2, Slot 1 - 2nd round of training. • Save 2, Slot 2 - 3nd round of training. • Save 2, Slot 3 - Some ruffians have been causing problems in Yunfa Town. Head over there to take care of it. • Save 2, Slot 4 - Took care of Tiger King. Head back to the Dojo. • Save 3, Slot 1 - Head to the mountain top to pray. Head west past Forest after that. • Save 3, Slot 2 - Head to Gihamon to hunt down Odiwan-Lee. • Save 3, Slot 3 - Before facing Odiwan Lee and his cronies. • Save 3, Slot 4 - Odiwan at last. |
5 - Bakumatsu Chapter Saves (Ninja)- 12 KB • Save 1, Slot 1 - Very beginning of the chapter. Find and rescue a prisoner. • Save 1, Slot 2 - Attic above warehouse. Found the key to it. • Save 1, Slot 3 - Obtain some treasures from the castle's warehouse. • Save 2, Slot 1 - In the castle; found Basement Key. • Save 2, Slot 2 - In the basement; successfully rescued the prisoner. • Save 2, Slot 3 - In the basement; defeated Gennai Trap. • Save 2, Slot 4 - In castle's secret area with Circle Trap; gained a party member. • Save 3, Slot 1 - In castle warehouse; leveling up characters for optional bosses. • Save 3, Slot 2 - In the river; defeated Iwama, the fish boss. • Save 3, Slot 3 - In the secret room; defeated Ryuunosuke, the last optional boss. • Save 3, Slot 4 - Outside Lord Ode's room, right before seeing Ode. • Save 4, Slot 1 - Defeated Musashi. 6 - Prehistoric Chapter Saves (Caveman)- 12 KB • Save 1, Slot 1 - Very beginning of the chapter. • Save 1, Slot 2 - Looted all the items in the cave. • Save 1, Slot 3 - Made some weapons. The elder want you to hunt for food. Speak to the guy next to him. • Save 1, Slot 4 - Finished the mini tutorial. Either go back to Pogo's room to rest, or fight some more. • Save 2, Slot 1 - In Pogo's room; Gori is missing. Find him by tracing the smell. • Save 2, Slot 2 - Both Gori and your new friend is missing. Find them. • Save 2, Slot 3 - Invaders looking for Pogo's friend. Head south. • Save 2, Slot 4 - Got kicked out by the elder. • Save 3, Slot 1 - Found a cave. Head in and spend the night there. • Save 3, Slot 2 - Beru was kidnapped by Zaki and goons. Wake Gori and go after them. • Save 3, Slot 3 - Finally free from the trap. Track down Zaki and rescue Beru. • Save 3, Slot 4 - Infiltrate the area to rescue Beru. • Save 4, Slot 1 - In the 2nd wilderness area leveling up. • Save 4, Slot 2 - In the enemy's cave; ready to kick some butts, except King Mammoth's. |
7 - Near Future Chapter Saves (Psychic)- 12 KB • Save 1, Slot 1 - In Kaori's room; go talk to the antique dealer, Toei. • Save 1, Slot 2 - In Kaori's room; talk to Kaori. • Save 1, Slot 3 - In Kaori's room; gained a party member. Follow Toei back and see what's up. • Save 1, Slot 4 - In the park at the Taiyaki stand; scored some free items. Head back to the house and give the snacks to kids for more items. • Save 2, Slot 1 - In Chibikko's house, the bathroom; scored some free items. Time to head for Toei's antique shop. • Save 2, Slot 2 - In the antique shop, 1st floor. Speak to Toei about Buriki Daioh. • Save 2, Slot 3 - In the antique shop, 1st floor. Akira was unable to move BD. Speak to Toei if you want to refine some items before heading back. • Save 2, Slot 4 - In the antique shop, 1st floor. Refined items into equipments and healing items. • Save 3, Slot 1 - At the pier; chased the Crusaders to the pier. Look for Kazu and Matsu. • Save 3, Slot 2 - At Chibikko's house, Kaori's room; read Kaori's mind. Follow Matsu to the facility to the east. • Save 3, Slot 3 - At the facility; Matsu joins the party. • Save 3, Slot 4 - At the facility; find the ID number to get past the big door. • Save 4, Slot 1 - In Chibikko's house, Kaori's room; go after Matsu. Head toward the antique shop. • Save 4, Slot 2 - At the bar; speak to Matsu, then head back to Chibikko's house. • Save 4, Slot 3 - In Buriki Daioh; mind read Matsu. |
8 - Medieval Chapter Saves (Knight)- 11.8 KB • Save 1, Slot 1 - At Lucretia Castle; Orsted volunteers himself to go save the princess. Just a reminder, try not to take any of the items in this chapter. Unless it's redeemable :P • Save 1, Slot 2 - At Lucretia Castle; Straybow joins the party. Now might be a good time to visit the hero Hash in the mountains. • Save 1, Slot 3 - At Hero's Peak, Hash's cabin. Hash isn't being very social. Visit Familia Village for some information. • Save 1, Slot 4 - Familia Village, Uranus' home. Uranus joins the party. Visit Hash again. • Save 2, Slot 1 - Hero's Peak, Hash's cabin. Head for the summit to retrieve something. Don't forget the shield on the wall. • Save 2, Slot 2 - At Forbidden Land's entrance, about to enter. • Save 2, Slot 3 - Past the room full of statues, about to do battle with demon king. • Save 2, Slot 4 - Hash just died. The room is about to collapse. Time to escape. • Save 3, Slot 1 - In Lucretia Castle throne room; time to break the bad news to the king. • Save 3, Slot 2 - In Lucretia Castle prison; go to Demon Peaks. • Save 3, Slot 3 - In Forbidden Land, 1st area; defeat the bosses on the way to advance. • Save 3, Slot 4 - In Forbidden Land, 2nd area; defeat the bosses on the way to advance. • Save 4, Slot 1 - In Forbidden Land, 3rd area; defeat the bosses on the way to advance. • Save 4, Slot 2 - In Forbidden Land, 4th area; defeat the bosses on the way to advance. • Save 4, Slot 3 - In Forbidden Land, final area; it ends with this. |
9 - Final Chapter Saves (Akira as chosen char)- 11.8 KB • Save 1, Slot 1 - Basic premise, you beat the fudge out of the demon king. You can try to take on the bloke by yourself, or recruit buddies.
