Q: GAME SAVES?

Did you accidentally delete your saved game in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night? Do you want to skip certain parts of the game? Whatever the case may be, these game saves are here to save the day. ^_^

Q: WHAT ARE THESE?

Each save is an *.mcr file, which is compatible with any PSX emulator. Each *.mcr file contains only the specified Castlevania: Symphony of the Night save, and all other slots are empty. These saves were captured with the NTSC version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night so they will not work with PAL or other versions.

DIRECTIONS

I have step-by-step directions in my Game Saves Tutorial.

Save #1 - Alchemy Laboratory Towards the end of "Entrance". Head north and through the left door to enter Alchemy Laboratory.
Save #2 - Outer Wall Just arrived at the Outer Wall. Head up to battle against the Doppelganger.
Save #3 - Long Library Just defeated the Doppelganger. Head up to the Library.
Save #4 - Royal Chapel Just entered the Royal Chapel. Recently passed through the Long Library for the first time and teleported over here.
Save #5 - Castle Keep Just defeated the Griffin. Go up to enter the Castle Keep for the first time.
Save #6 - Clock Tower The Clock Tower stage! Enter the door below to reach it. Beforehand, passed through Royal Chapel and Castle Keep.
Save #7 - Colosseum At the Colosseum! Conquer it!
Save #8 - Return to Long Library In the Library again, but this time in an area that can only be reached with the double jump. Head right and you'll eventually come across a boss and the invaluable bat soul item that lets you fly to any height.
Save #9 - Underground Caverns In the Underground Caverns. Enter and conquer!
Save #10 - Olrox's Quarters At the beginning, near the laboratory. Go around and under to the teleport room and teleport over to Olrox's Quarters (which has the head of a deer). Once you're there use the bat form to fly up into the ceiling to reach the core area of Olrox's Quarters.
Save #11 - Abandoned Mine At the beginning of the Abandoned Mine.
Save #12 - Catacombs At the beginning of the Catacombs.
Save #13 - Succubus Head east to battle the Succubus! Haha well, I kind of forgot about Succubus; that's why she's last.
Save #14 - To the Inverse Castle The Holy Glasses are equipped. Head to Dracula's throne room and destroy the orb to break the control over Richter. Then you'll automatically go to the second castle after they finish talking.
Save #15 - Inverse Castle, Part 2 At the Outer Wall. The bosses of the following areas have been defeated:
• Royal Chapel (Medusa)
• Olrox's Quarters (Mummy)
• Clock Tower (Darkwing Bat)
Save #16 - Inverse Castle, Part 3 At the beginning of the Catacombs. The bosses of the following areas have been defeated:
• Royal Chapel (Medusa)
• Olrox's Quarters (Mummy)
• Clock Tower (Darkwing Bat)
• Outer Wall (Frankenstein Monster)
• Underground Caverns (Doppelganger)
• Abandoned Mine (Death)
Save #16b - Inverse Castle, Part 3b This is from a different quest to add variety to these saves. The bosses of the following areas have been defeated:
• Royal Chapel (Medusa)
• Olrox's Quarters (Mummy)
• Clock Tower (Darkwing Bat)
• Outer Wall (Frankenstein Monster)
• Alchemy Laboratory (Beezelbub)
Save #17 - Inverse Catacombs At the end of the Catacombs, about the fight the toughest boss. All other bosses have been defeated.
Save #18 - Shaft & Dracula Go in the elevator and battle Shaft!
