Final Fantasy VII: Last Order is an addition to Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. It's an original video animation that was released with the "Ultimate Edition" of the movie (so called: "Advent Pieces: Limited"). It's an anime rendition of the past events prior to the game Final Fantasy VII. It revolves around the event that took place in Nibelheim, involving Zack, Cloud, Tifa and Sephiroth.

The plot encompasses two events. One storyline revolves around the Nibelheim scenario that focuses on Zack, Cloud, Sephiroth and Tifa. The other event follows Zack and Cloud as they run from the megacorporation Shinra. The OVA cuts back and forth between these two flashbacks, linked by the narration of Turk leader Tseng and his reflections on the Nibelheim event.
